Printmaking students in the news

UTK Printmaking alumni Kelley Walker (BFA 1995) and Josh Smith (BFA 1998) both had prints included in the Museum of Modern Art New York’s exhibition “Print Out” surveying the past two decades of contemporary printmaking. The exhibition, which was held February 19–May 14, 2012 was organized by Christophe Cherix, The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Chief Curator of Prints and Illustrated Books, with Kim Conaty, Curatorial Assistant, Department of Prints and Illustrated Books.

Both Walker and Smith also have their work included in “Phantom Limb: Approaches to Painting Today” held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago on display May 5-October 21, 2012.
